Member/Activity Assistant

Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Elite Day Center is currently looking for an energetic, caring, and reliable individual to care for the Members at our location in AIKEN, SC- a medical adult day care provider.

• Provide hands on ADL care to Members/Clients of the day center as needed/ordered (Toileting, Feeding, Assistance with ambulation & activities)


• Serve catered lunch and snacks according to instructions.


• Provide opportunities for socialization for the Members, Lead and assist with activities based on activity calendar 


• Interacting and keep Members engaged throughout the day.


• Maintain a clean environment for the Members of the Center with daily cleaning tasks


• Documentation of participation in activities and progress toward activity goal


• Redirect members with behaviors in a calm manner, adhere to members rights and privacy


• Experience working with adults with various disabilities and special needs, preferred


• Experience working with Alzheimer's/Dementia, preferred.

Job Type: Full-Time

Requirements:

Must be willing do undergo background check, drug test and obtain TB test

Current CPR or willing to obtain
