Travel Mental Health Counselor (Days)
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Mental Health Counselor for a 13-week travel assignment in Cordova, AK.

Hourly Pay: $ 34.20
Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1246.00
Weekly Total Pay: $ 2169.40
EMR Used: CPSI/Evident
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain ethical behavior commensurate with the code of ethics of the employee profession.
Function as part of the agency team, working in cooperation with all staff.
Attend weekly clinical team meetings.
Attend weekly staff meetings.
Assure completion of documentation in a timely and efficient manner as required by funding sources and agency policy.
Provide comprehensive assessment, outpatient and aftercare, and crisis intervention for mental health and substance abuse clients in accordance with accepted clinical practice standards, current federal, state, and grant administrations and regulations (DBH), ethical standards of their professional affiliation and established agency policy and procedures.
Prepare all documentation and other reports as needed.
Represent Sound Alternatives to the community in an appropriate and professional manner.
Carry a caseload in the delivery of direct services including but not limited to individual, group, and family counseling/therapy.
Participate in needs assessment for identification of behavioral health needs in the community.
Provide consultation to members of the staff and community agencies as needed/requested.
Maintain an excellent working relationship with all community human service agencies and organizations.
Under the direction of the Director of Community Programs, coordinate treatment activities with departments as necessary.
Participate in treatment team meetings and case conferences with other staff, OCS, and other involved parties as appropriate.
Maintain client advocacy as a priority within and outside of the agency as necessary.
Maintain effective standards of communication between self & co-workers.
Participate in needs assessment for identification of behavioral health needs in the community.
