Mental Health Therapist

We serve tens of thousands of people each year in seven ministries: Marisol Services, Early Childhood Education, Shelter Services, Catholic Charities Housing, St. Raphael Counseling, Family, Kinship, and Senior Services; and Parish & Community Engagement.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
A Mental Health Therapist at Catholic Charities:
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree (MA/MS/MSW) or doctorate degree from accredited college or university; and three to five years related experience and/or training in the field of counseling psychology, social work, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge and experience in the field of perinatal mental health, early childhood mental health, and trauma-informed practice is preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands to handle and feel. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
