Position: Meters Specialist
Department: Allocated Admin
Reports To: DCA & Meters Supervisor

FLSA Status: Full-Time / Non-Exempt / Hourly

Description

Primary responsibility involves outbound phone calls and e-mails to customers to obtain meter readings.

Responsibilities

• Keying meter readings into E-Automate


• Verifying if devices are reporting in collection software


• Work with other departments in maintaining and assessing equipment information

Experience & Required Skills

• Ideal candidate will offer 2-3 yrs. in Customer Service


• Phone and E-mail Etiquette


• Excellent Customer Service Skills


• Knowledge of Equipment and Customers


• Ability to Work with Minimal Supervision


• Clean/Professional Appearance


• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with the following products and technology:
  
  
  
  • Outlook, Excel, and other Microsoft applications
  
  
  • Experience with E-Automate is helpful
  
  
  
  

Education & Certification

• High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

• Ability to control computer and telephone keyboard


• Ability to comprehend printed and electronic documents


• Ability to regularly speak clearly so listeners can understand


• Ability to understand the speech of others
