Stringfellow Technology Group has been the technology team behind growing businesses since 2005. Our clients run between 50 and 1000+ employees and rely on ProSafeIT, our productized service covering Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, cloud, and technology enablement. Professional Services is our team that builds it. When a client moves to Microsoft 365, consolidates a file server into SharePoint, or rolls out Intune across every device they own, this team delivers the project. You would be one of the engineers doing that work.
Why This Role Is Different
Read this part carefully. It is the most accurate description of the job we can give you.
This is MSP project delivery, not internal IT. You will work across dozens of client environments, each built differently, each with its own history and its own constraints. If you have only supported one environment, this will be a harder adjustment than you expect.
You own your projects. You assess the environment, design the approach, run the work, and document it when its completed and handed off to operations. Your manager is there when needed.
Priorities move. Two client escalations and a cutover window can land in the same week. We need someone who stays steady and communicates well.
This is an onsite role. You will work from our Brentwood office and at client sites across Middle Tennessee. It is not hybrid and it is not remote.
Who You Are
You have spent 3 to 5 years doing project work on 3rd party environments, not limited to service desk work, at an MSP or a professional services organization that works with multiple clients.
You are an expert at Microsoft 365. Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID, and Intune are daily tools you feel comfortable using.
You are solid on Windows Server, Active Directory, and core networking, and you can explain reasoning for decisions to non-technical stakeholders if necessary.
You are comfortable in front of a client. You can explain a cutover plan to a business owner and hold your position if someone pushes back.
You document as you go, because someone else will support what you build.
You adapt well to change and recognize every client is different and can formulate new solutions based on best practices we’ve established.
