Role: Microstrategy Developer

Location: Irving, TX 

Position: Full time

• The MicroStrategy Developer will be responsible for analyzing complex system requirements and the subsequent development of reporting, analytical, and dashboard solutions using the MicroStrategy BI platform for various business domains.


• Responsible for hands on development of reports , dashboards for critical milestones and meet the high quality deliverables.


• Architect MicroStrategy Schema Objects for reports and dashboards development.


• Evaluate incidents/defects, investigate, identify root cause and come up with solutions to address them.


• Lead a team to perform design, development, testing, validation, performance tuning and quality assurance activities for the individual business intelligence projects.

Skills and Experience Required

• Extensive experience with MicroStrategy schema definition, design, implementation and maintenance: facts, attributes, hierarchies, etc.


• Extensive experience with MicroStrategy application object development: metrics, templates, filters, reports, dashboards, etc.


• Strong knowledge of BI architecture, data warehousing concepts, and data visualization best practices.


• Experience with relational structures, dimensional data modeling, SQL skills, Data Warehousing and reporting techniques.


• MicroStrategy certifications are preferred (but not a must have).


• Excellent oral and written communication skills and effectively communicate details with all levels of management.


• Adept and proactive at problem-solving.


• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and develop solutions to problems independently and through facilitated team discussions


• Prioritizes workload, multi-tasks, meets deadlines and manages competing priorities under pressure.
