Job Description - Mid to Senior Level Construction Estimator

CEA is looking for a Mid-Senior Level Construction Estimator located in either Birmingham or Mobile, AL... Preferred.

Estimators in the Jackson Mississippi, Baton Rouge & New Orleans Louisiana areas will also be considered.

Primary Responsibilities:

Estimating & Preconstruction

Prepare construction estimates and take-offs for projects in:

Hospitality

Multifamily

Commercial

Healthcare

K-12

Higher Education

Project Phase Management

Support and manage estimating activities during:

Conceptual Phase

Pre-Construction

Construction

Change Orders

Key Qualifications:

Experience

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred

5 to 10+ years of construction estimating experience

Experience preparing estimates from schematic design through design development documents

Change-order management experience

Knowledge of historical pricing and cost databases

Experience leading stakeholder meetings

Scheduling experience

Estimating knowledge across all CSI trade divisions
- M*E*P is a plus

Software

Competency with Timberline/Sage or similar estimating software

Some experience with Primavera 3/6 preferred

Compensation

$115,000 - $180,000 annually
- Salary based on experience
