Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Millwork Supervisor to oversee the efficient functioning of our millwork logistics and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in managing logistics, transportation, and warehouse activities. The Millwork Supervisor will play a key role in optimizing processes, enhancing productivity, and ensuring the timely delivery of lumber/millwork products to our customers.

Responsibilities

Logistics Management

• Plan, coordinate, and optimize transportation routes for the timely delivery of lumber/millwork products to customers.


• Manage a fleet of drivers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and efficient utilization of resources.


• Work closely with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to streamline logistics operations.

Warehouse Operations

• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping lumber/millwork products.


• Implement and enforce best practices for inventory management, ensuring accurate and efficient stock control.


• Collaborate with the warehouse team to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Team Leadership

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of drivers and warehouse staff.


• Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the logistics and warehouse teams.


• Foster a positive and collaborative work culture, promoting teamwork and accountability.

Reporting and Documentation

• Generate and analyze reports related to logistics and warehouse performance.


• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and warehouse activities.

Requirements

• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.


• Basic knowledge about windows, doors, and trim.

Reporting Structure

The Millwork Supervisor will report directly to the General Manager.
