What You'll Do as a Millwright/Welder

• Install, rig, level, and anchor heavy industrial equipment
• Fit and weld piping systems in industrial and manufacturing environments
• Install and modify structural steel, platforms, ductwork, handrails, and miscellaneous metal fabrications
• Perform welding, fabrication, and repair work on industrial systems and equipment
• Install threaded pipe, copper tubing, and related mechanical systems
• Read and interpret blueprints to complete industrial construction and maintenance projects
• Operate safely on active industrial job sites, including elevated work areas
• Travel to job sites up to two hours from the shop to support industrial projects

Our Ideal Millwright/Welder

• Experienced Welder/Fabricator: Brings hands-on welding and fabrication experience, including Stick and/or TIG welding on carbon or stainless steel in industrial environments
• Mechanically Inclined: Understands industrial equipment, rigging, piping systems, and mechanical installation work while coming prepared with basic hand tools
• Adaptable & Hardworking: Thrives in fast-paced environments with changing job sites, physical work, and shifting daily responsibilities
• Safety-Focused: Works safely around heavy equipment, elevated work areas, and active industrial construction sites
• Physically Capable: Comfortable lifting, climbing, kneeling, standing for extended periods, and working at heights up to 150 feet
• Team-Oriented: Values accountability, professionalism, and working alongside a skilled crew to get the job done right

• $25-$35/hour based on experience
• Average 50 hours per week with steady project work
