Mini Box Truck Driver

RDP Foodservice – Hilliard, OH

Pay: $25.00 per hour

RDP Foodservice is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Mini Box Truck Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you will operate a 14-foot refrigerated delivery truck while delivering foodservice products to customers throughout our service area. Schedule

• Full-Time


• Monday – Friday


• Start times typically between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM


• Home Daily


• End times vary based on route volume, customer needs, and operational requirements


• Daily schedules are communicated at least 24 hours in advance


• Occasional holidays and weekends as needed

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a 14ft refrigerated delivery truck, along with other company vehicles as needed.


• Deliver foodservice products to customer locations using a two-wheel dolly.


• Unload and deliver approximately 300 cases per route.


• Complete routes ranging from 1 to 12 stops based on customer needs.


• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.


• Utilize electronic logging devices (ELDs) and delivery technology as required.


• Maintain proper temperature controls and food safety standards.


• Pick up inbound freight and execute scheduled backhauls.


• Communicate effectively with transportation management regarding delays, issues, or route concerns.


• Maintain company vehicles in a clean, safe, and professional condition.


• Assist in the warehouse as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.


• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.


• Ability to operate a two-wheel dolly and maneuver products up and down delivery ramps.


• Ability to perform physically demanding work.


• Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.


• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.


• Reliable transportation to and from work.
