$30-$35 per hour | DeKalb IL | Full-time | No Saturdays | Ultra Low Health Insurance |

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Ford Mobile Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and repair experience with Ford vehicles and be comfortable providing mobile service to both residential customers and commercial fleet accounts.

This position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently, provide exceptional customer service, and efficiently perform repairs at customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Ford gasoline and diesel vehicles at customer locations.


• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brakes, batteries, filters, and full inspections.


• Complete minor to moderate repairs on-site


• Service residential customers and fleet accounts while maintaining a professional appearance and attitude.


• Utilize Ford diagnostic equipment and service information to accurately diagnose vehicle concerns.


• Communicate repair recommendations and vehicle status to customers and dispatch.


• Maintain service vehicle inventory and ensure proper care of tools and equipment.


• Complete repair orders and document all work performed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of Ford dealership or Ford repair experience required.


• Experience servicing both residential customers and commercial fleets.


• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.


• Experience with Ford IDS/FDRS diagnostic software required.


• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


• Excellent communication and customer service skills.


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
