Duties:
  • Collect, orient, and section tissue for Mohs procedures.
  • Prepare specimens for pathology evaluation.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot cryostat instruments.
  • Prepare reagents and manage laboratory inventory.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records.
  • Adapt and improve specimen preparation techniques.
  • Advise and implement corrective actions for unacceptable sections.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and regulations for accurate patient care.
Qualifications:
  • Applicant must have a minimum of one (1) year hands-on Mohs frozen section training.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Basic Life Support Certification or valid CPR card.
  • Valid Hepatitis B immunization required, valid tuberculin skin (TB) test.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
