Monitor Technician-Telemetry, Full-time 36 Hours, 7p-7a

Summary of Position

Promptly and accurately identifies, documents and communicates information on cardiac rhythm status of patients being monitored to the registered nurse and the physician. Appropriately demonstrates sense of urgency. Assists with maintaining the medical record of patients.

Education and Training

High school graduate or GED.

BLS required.

EKG certification required within 90 days of hire/transfer.

Experience

Previous experience in healthcare preferred.

Previous experience with cardiac monitoring, interpretation of cardiac rhythms, or telemetry monitoring preferred. 

Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications

Computer literacy.

Schedule

Full-time 36 hours, 7p-7a, Every other weekend and every other holiday.
