Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care – is seeking a compassionate, dependable Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a client in Marysville, WA. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in helping others maintain their comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Schedule: Various Days with hours between 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Compensation: $21.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience and assignment

Job Summary

As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support with daily living activities while creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for the client. You will work independently while following the client's care plan and communicating with the family and care team as needed.

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, bathing, dressing, and mobility.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home.

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare and serve meals while following dietary requirements.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide medication reminders as directed.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist clients with prescribed exercises and other recommended activities.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform light housekeeping tasks that the client is unable to complete independently.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with shopping or accompany clients on errands when needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor and communicate changes in the client's condition or behavior.

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate effectively with clients, families, nurses, and other members of the care team.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Respond appropriately and responsibly to emergencies or unusual situations.

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  Previous caregiving or related experience preferred, but not required.

  
  


• 
  

  Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association preferred/required as applicable.

  
  


• 
  

  Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable approach to client care.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work independently and follow established care plans.

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of basic housekeeping and meal preparation, including dietary considerations.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Physical ability and endurance to perform required caregiving tasks.

  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Successful completion of a background check and reference verification.
