Position Overview:  


The Mortgage Sales Manager is responsible for leading and developing a team of Mortgage Loan Officers to achieve production goals, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver outstanding client service. This role involves setting sales strategies, driving growth, recruiting and mentoring loan officers, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, referral partners, and internal teams.



Responsibilities and Duties: 



  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth.

  • Monitor sales metrics, prepare reports, and present results to leadership.

  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and business partners.

  • Provide ongoing training and professional development for the sales team.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and Operations to support company objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred).

  • Proven experience as a Mortgage Sales Manager, Branch Manager, or senior Mortgage Loan Officer with leadership responsibilities.

  • Strong track record of mortgage origination success and sales leadership.

  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, lending regulations, and industry best practices.

  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-management abilities.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems, LOS platforms, and MS Office Suite.


 


Preferred Skills:



  • Established referral network in the mortgage or real estate industry.

  • Ability to motivate and inspire teams in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.

  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
