MRI Medical Assistant

The Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics is seeking an MRI Medical Assistant for a part-time position in Chattanooga, TN, utilizing GE Voyager within the Caring Suite dynamics.

The Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics is Chattanooga's leading provider of multi-specialty orthopaedic care since 1979. We have 12 convenient locations in Chattanooga, North Georgia, and the surrounding area. We offer advanced sports medicine, orthopaedics, surgery, physical and occupational therapy, and sports training.

Education: Completion of a formal medical assistant training program and/or Medical Assistant certification.

Experience: Will consider recent graduate of medical assistant training program. At least two years experience in outpatient clinic setting desired.

BLS (CPR) certification required.

Responsible to assist the MRI team in patient care, ensure efficient and effective patient care and flow through the MRI department and obtain complete and accurate information from patients.

Excellent customer service and communication skills required.

Weekend availability needed.

No nights or holidays.
