MRI Technologist

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to join a high-performing diagnostic imaging team in Las Cruces, NM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans, ensuring patient safety, and delivering accurate imaging to support clinical diagnosis and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all scanning procedures
• Prepare and position patients accurately for optimal image quality
• Operate MRI equipment and adjust scan parameters as needed
• Maintain imaging records and ensure compliance with clinical standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure diagnostic accuracy
• Follow all infection control, safety, and hospital policies

Requirements

• Registered MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI) or ARMRIT certification required
• Ability to obtain New Mexico state MRI licensure (or currently licensed)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire
• Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols and imaging procedures
• Excellent patient care and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in hospital or outpatient imaging settings
• Familiarity with advanced MRI systems and imaging software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
