MRI Technologist and Senior MRI Technologist

This is a combined posting for MRI Technologist and Senior MRI Technologist. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. The MRI Registered Radiologic Technologist will provide services timely and efficiently, at appropriate levels to all patients and in all settings served by the department. The MRI Registered Radiologic Technologist will also perform tasks and duties as outlined in the Diagnostic Imaging Department's Policies and Procedures; will assist in assigned administrative tasks and will maintain clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs.

The Senior MRI Registered Radiologic Technologist will provide services timely and efficiently, at appropriate levels to all patients and in all settings served by the department. The Senior MRI Registered Radiologic Technologist will also perform tasks and duties as outlined in the Diagnostic Imaging Department's Policies and Procedures; will assist in assigned administrative tasks and will maintain clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs.  Functions as expert user and may precept new staff.

$5,000 - hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Shift Details: Variable 0.9, 0.8, 0.01

Work Days: Thursday through Wednesday

Work Hours: 11am - 9pm during the week and 7am to 7pm on the weekends

Required Qualifications:

• Education required to receive MSRT


• Upon hire: Montana Radiologic Technologist, or


• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or


• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or


• Upon hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists


• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year experience

Salary Range by Location:

MRI Technologist, Missoula, MT Min: $37.69, Max: $58.50

Senior MRI Technologist - MRI

• Education required to receive MSRT
