Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled MuleSoft Senior Developer to drive the analysis, design, and

development of critical information systems and business solutions for our federal clients. In

this role, you will be instrumental across the entire software development lifecycle—from

gathering requirements and crafting program specifications to the design, build, test, and

maintenance phases. The ideal candidate will blend deep technical expertise in MuleSoft with

the analytical ability to support infrastructure projects, optimize production environments, and

elevate our enterprise integration strategies.

Key Responsibilities

System Lifecycle Management: Lead the creation of specifications and requirements,

actively participating in the maintenance, design, build, and testing phases of systems

and applications.

Application Development: Code, test, and debug applications and programs to ensure

high performance, security, and reliability.

?

Solution Design & Analysis: Participate in the application design of systems using

advanced analytical techniques. Develop comprehensive program specifications and

detailed design documents.

Infrastructure Support: Provide technical support and analysis for infrastructure

projects and production environments.

?

Continuous Improvement: Monitor, plan, and measure the impact of new products and

services, and develop strategic recommendations for system upgrades and

improvements.

Operational Readiness: Assist cross-functional teams in testing, end-user training, and

the preparation of deployment operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

?

Experience: 7+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience, including

application design, development, and comprehensive unit testing.

?

Certification: MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (Required).

?

Integration Expertise: Proven, demonstrable experience integrating SAP Concur and

other large-scale enterprise systems.

?

Core Technical Skills: Strong expertise in Mule ESB, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)

principles, and RESTful API development utilizing JSON and XML.

?

Architecture & Governance: Solid understanding of event-driven architecture, API

lifecycle management, and enterprise governance structures.

?

Programming & Databases: Proficient in Java, middleware integration techniques, and

working with both relational and NoSQL databases.
?

Documentation & Standards: Exceptional ability to produce clear technical

documentation, including design specifications and interface contracts, while strictly

adhering to MuleSoft best practices, platform guardrails, and API Delivery Model

standards
