Job Description - Multifamily Superintendent

Our client, a rapidly growing multifamily developer and builder, is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead the field execution of ground-up apartment communities throughout Colorado.


This individual will oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Superintendent will coordinate subcontractors, lead field personnel, manage inspections, and partner closely with Project Management to successfully deliver large-scale wood-frame multifamily developments.

Key Accountabilities



  • Lead all on-site construction operations from groundbreaking through project closeout.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules while coordinating subcontractors, manpower, and site logistics.

  • Drive jobsite safety through OSHA compliance, safety meetings, inspections, and enforcement of company safety standards.

  • Monitor quality throughout construction, ensuring work complies with plans, specifications, and company standards.

  • Coordinate inspections, manage punch list completion, and deliver successful project turnover.

  • Lead subcontractor meetings, resolve field issues, and maintain project momentum.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, schedules, inspections, and field records.

  • Partner closely with Project Managers regarding procurement, budgeting, change management, and project execution.

  • Mentor Assistant Superintendents and field staff while fostering accountability and strong team performance.


Minimum Requirements



  • Minimum 5 years of Superintendent experience managing ground-up construction projects.

  • Strong preference for wood-frame multifamily construction experience.

  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors, schedules, quality, and safety on active construction sites.

  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, building codes, and field operations.

  • Experience coordinating inspections, punch lists, and project closeout.

  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.

  • Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
