Location: Northwest Wisconsin
Full-Time | Direct Hire | Manufacturing
We are seeking an experienced Multi-Site Operations Manager to provide senior operational leadership across three manufacturing facilities in Northwest Wisconsin.
This is an opportunity to join an established, profitable, and growing durable-goods manufacturer with approximately 200 employees. The Operations Manager will have responsibility for approximately 150–170 production employees across day, night, and weekend operations and will report directly to the President.
The business is in a strong position, with established customer relationships, reliable operating data, and a workforce receptive to continued improvement. This is not a turnaround situation. The successful candidate will take the time to understand the organization, its people, and its processes before implementing thoughtful improvements that take the operation from good to great.
We are looking for a leader who is visible on the manufacturing floor, analytical, patient, decisive, and capable of building both engagement and accountability.
Experience in metal fabrication, building products, HVAC equipment, engineered-to-order manufacturing, industrial components, or comparable durable-goods manufacturing would transfer particularly well.
A college degree is preferred but not required. UW–Stout graduates are especially encouraged to apply.
This position is located in Northwest Wisconsin. Candidates currently living in Wisconsin or the Midwest are strongly preferred.
Candidates considering relocation should be genuinely comfortable living and working in a smaller Wisconsin community. This area is particularly well suited to individuals who enjoy an outdoor-oriented lifestyle, with affordable housing, opportunities for acreage, and excellent access to lakes, hunting, fishing, boating, skiing, ATV trails, and snowmobiling. Larger communities and additional amenities are available within a reasonable drive.
Relocation assistance may be considered for the right candidate, but candidates with existing ties to Wisconsin or the Upper Midwest are strongly preferred.
This is a healthy, established manufacturing business with a receptive workforce and an opportunity to make a meaningful long-term impact.
The successful candidate will inherit a solid operating foundation and have the opportunity to strengthen leadership, improve manufacturing performance, develop people, and help guide the organization through its next stage of growth.
$110,000–$120,000 annually. Full-time, direct-hire opportunity with an established and growing durable-goods manufacturer. Benefits package included. Relocation assistance may be considered for the right candidate, with preference given to candidates already located in Wisconsin or the Midwest.
