SUMMARY
The Music Coordinator collaborates with clergy, staff, and volunteers to plan, coordinate, and execute music for parish liturgical celebrations. This role supports the parish’s worship life through effective music ministry, including the preparation of choirs, cantors, and other musicians, in alignment with the teachings and liturgical norms of the Roman Catholic Church. The Music Coordinator fosters active participation of the assembly and is attentive to the cultural and spiritual needs of the parish community.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed primarily in a church and office setting. This position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and liturgical seasons, as needed. Duties may involve extended periods of standing, rehearsals, and performance, as well as administrative and computer-based work.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to reach, grasp, and perform fine motor tasks, as well as see both up close and at a distance. Must be able to use standard office equipment and computer systems, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form. Tasks require the ability to perform light physical work, which may include lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling objects and materials up to 10 pounds. Work may involve extended periods at a computer or workstation.
