Job Description - Music Therapist

Adelphi is seeking a Music Therapist to provide school -based music therapy services to students with disabilities at a school in Maryland. The ideal candidate will provide direct, group, consultative, and assessment services based on IEP needs.

Requirements:

• Board Certification as a Music Therapist — MT -BC

• Familiarity with pediatric therapy, IEPs, and school -based service delivery

Responsibilities:

• Conduct music therapy assessments and reassessments

• Prepare written assessment reports and support IEP development

• Provide individual, group, pull -out, and push -in music therapy services

• Consult with school staff regarding student progress and reinforcement strategies

• Complete quarterly progress updates on IEP goals

• Maintain required service documentation

• Any other duties as assigned within scope.
