Nanny Position

Location: Swampscott, MA
Compensation: $30/hour
Commitment Level: Part-time, long-term
Guaranteed Hours: 20 hours per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30pm–6:30pm, with flexibility for occasional evenings

A Swampscott family is seeking an energetic, engaging, and highly reliable Part-Time Nanny/Family Assistant to care for one child in the upper elementary age range. This is a long-term, part-time position that combines afternoon childcare with light household support. The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, an excellent driver, and comfortable working in a home with pets. Afternoons include after-school transportation and supervision, with periods of downtime while the child is in scheduled activities — the right candidate will use that time productively across household tasks.

• Manage after-school transportation, including school pickup and bus arrival supervision
• Provide engaging, energetic supervision and activities between school and scheduled activities
• Grocery shopping
• Light housekeeping
• Laundry
• Closet organization
• Maintaining household inventory
• Occasional evening flexibility as needed

• Prior relevant professional childcare experience required
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
• Comfortable working in a home with household pets
• Must show proof of legal right to work in the United States
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
