PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Premature & critically ill newborns
• Patient Volume: 30 daily
• Admissions: 450 (annual; NICU)
• Rounding included: Yes
• Phone Consults: As Needed
• Case Mix: High -acuity NICU & advanced neonatal therapies
FACILITY INFORMATION
• No of Beds: 49 -bed Level III -B NICU
- 15 -bed Level III -A NICU, growing Level II NICU, and Well -Baby Units
• Support Staff: BC Neonatologists and 24/7 NNPs support
• Telehealth -supported neonatal coverage model
REQUIRED PROCEDURES/DUTIES
• Inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
• High -frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV)
• High -frequency jet ventilation (HFJV)
• Therapeutic hypothermia
• Management of ELGAN infants including 22 -week gestation neonates
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Active MO License
• BC/BE
• DEA
• Clean Record (highly preferred)
• Must have Neonatology experience
