Network & Security Installs Technician I

• Network, security camera, and access control system installation and configuration
  
• Installation of ethernet, coaxial, and fiber optic cabling
  
• Diagnose and repair security systems and networks
  
• Record keeping and daily explanation of time and materials
  
• Managing and organizing new and existing network infrastructure
  
• Driving to and from job sites
  
• Reading and interpreting floor plans and prints

Requirements

• Attention to detail
  
• 1 plus year(s) experience as a network installation technician, low
  voltage installer, security camera technician, or relevant position
  
• Outstanding diagnostic, problem -solving, and analytical skills
  
• Good communication skills
  
• Good knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols, and network technologies
  
• Hands -on experience with common software and hardware
  
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  
• Ability to lift over 75 lbs
  
• Ability to use power tools and ladders
