Conceptual\Logical Skills
The candidates should be able to query firewall syslog data to identify specific data sets relative to common source/destination IP’s, protocols, and ports. Then consolidate the data sets into functional summarized Cisco firewall access-list rule sets.
Candidates should have at least 60 months experience, and following should apply:
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Cisco ASA Firewall Experience
- access-list builds
- access-list consolidation
- network & service object-groups
- nested object-groups
Windows & Linux
- RegEx scripting
File Query Utilities
- grep, ultra edit, notepad++
- context query
- data extraction and consolidation
- relationship tables
