Sonographer Specialty Job Responsibilities:

• Performs complex and advanced specialty exams, and Intra op ultrasound guided procedures, venous insufficiency studies, AV optimization.
• Identifies and manages clinical or emergent problems that may impact exam outcomes, ensuring patient safety and optimal diagnostic quality.
• Participated in some healthcare related community engagement event.
• Provides expert patient communication, ensuring understanding, comfort, and cooperation during procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certification -BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start ARRT registered as a Radiologic Technologist required upon start American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer required upon start. American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registered. Must have RVT/RVS/VS with specialty in Vascular OR RDMS/ARRT with at least two sonographer specialties (i.e. OB/GYN, Breast, AB) required upon start.
• Licensure - None required
• Experience – 5 years of experience in a hospital/healthcare environment in the performance of Specialized Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Education - Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. ARRT, ARDMS, RDMS or RVT registered
