Assistant Account Manager (Personal Lines or Commercial Lines)

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Account Manager to join a growing office. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are newer to the insurance industry and eager to build a rewarding career. The Assistant Account Manager will support both personal and commercial lines accounts, assisting with quotes, answering client inquiries, and learning the skills necessary to grow into an Account Manager role.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $35,000 - $40,000 annually (depending on experience) + bonus opportunities

Responsibilities

• Assist with quoting new and renewal business


• Answer client phone calls and provide exceptional customer service


• Support Account Managers with day-to-day tasks


• Learn and utilize software tools such as Excel, AMS360, and ImageRight


• Participate in training programs to develop skills and industry knowledge


• Collaborate with team members to ensure client satisfaction

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licensing: Property & Casualty (P&C) license preferred; assistance available to obtain the license if not already licensed


• Experience: Open to candidates with no prior experience; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential


• Skills: Strong customer service orientation, friendly demeanor, and excellent communication skills


• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Excel and the ability to learn new software systems
