Commercial Lines Account Executive/Placement Specialist (Remote)

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Executive/Placement Specialist to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial lines, a strong understanding of insurance applications for both large and small businesses, and a proven ability to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the preparation and review of insurance documents.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $70,000 – $85,000 (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review renewal applications for commercial lines accounts (approximately 80% of daily tasks).


• Send out quotes for new and renewal business (approximately 20% of daily tasks).


• Audit accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness before applications and quotes are finalized.


• Serve as the last line of defense to ensure all documentation meets company and carrier standards.


• Collaborate with carriers such as Hanover, Safety, CHUBB, Hagerty, Concord Group, Foremost, The Hartford, and Openly.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licensure: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.


• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of commercial lines experience, including completing applications for both large and small businesses.


• Account Types: Experience with generalist commercial accounts such as real estate, contractors, and more.


• Account Size: Familiarity with accounts up to $1 million, with an average size of $50,000.


• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS360 software is required.


• Attention to Detail: Strong ability to audit and ensure the accuracy of applications and quotes.


• Work Ethic: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
