Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing small to mid-market group accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and supporting the expansion of a benefits vertical.

Compensation Package

• Base Salary: Starting at $80,000 annually, with potential for growth based on experience and performance.


• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package provided.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of employee benefits accounts (A-Z account management).


• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication.


• Conduct open enrollment meetings and provide guidance to clients.


• Negotiate with carriers and handle marketing efforts for accounts.


• Quote new and renewal business, with mentorship available for candidates without prior marketing experience.


• Support a book of business consisting of 15 groups, with a focus on small to mid-market groups (4-250 lives).


• Collaborate with the producer targeting groups with 50-100 lives.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses/Designations: Life & Health (L&H) license is required.


• Experience: Open to candidates with varying levels of experience. Experience with level-funded health plans is a plus.


• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applied EPIC software is preferred.


• Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and client relationship management skills.


• Work Style: Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
