Commercial Placement Specialist / Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Placement Specialist / Marketing Coordinator to join a dynamic and fast-paced team. This role focuses on mid-market and complex accounts, including large energy, oil & gas, construction, and risk management portfolios. You will play a critical role in marketing, negotiating, and managing new and renewal business accounts with premiums exceeding $500,000.

Compensation Package

• Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience (up to $175,000 for exceptional candidates).

Responsibilities

• Market and negotiate new and renewal business accounts with carriers.


• Handle complex accounts, including large deductibles and risk management portfolios.


• Prepare and send proposals to carriers and coordinate with the service team.


• Manage approximately 5-10 accounts per month, ensuring timely and accurate processing.


• Utilize software tools such as Sagitta, ImageRight, and Excel to support daily operations.


• Maintain a high level of organization and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license in Texas is required. Professional designations are highly preferred.


• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong preference for candidates with expertise in large, complex accounts.


• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Sagitta, ImageRight, Excel, and email communication tools.


• Attributes: Strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.


• Work Environment: Flexibility to work in-office for the initial training period, with the potential for a hybrid schedule thereafter.
