Job Title: Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a client-focused and detail-oriented Personal Lines Account Manager to provide exceptional service by managing personal insurance portfolios. This role involves serving as the key point of contact for clients, assessing individual insurance requirements, and delivering tailored solutions. Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for personal lines insurance clients, addressing inquiries and providing timely resolutions.


• Manage and maintain a portfolio of clients, ensuring insurance policies are accurate, updated, and aligned with client needs.


• Provide personalized insurance recommendations and facilitate coverage changes as requested or required.


• Proactively review accounts and handle renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and claims processing.


• Build strong relationships with clients and insurers to foster trust while evaluating market trends to help clients make informed decisions.


• Cross-sell additional products and services that align with client needs, ensuring compliance with company policies.


• Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.


• Stay current on industry regulations, company policies, and available products to better serve clients.


• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Proven experience as an Account Manager, Customer Service Representative, or in a similar client-facing role, ideally within the insurance industry.


• Licensed to sell personal lines insurance or ability to obtain licensing shortly after hire.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-first mindset and discretion in handling sensitive information.


• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.


• Proficient in insurance management software, MS Office Suite, and other relevant tools.


• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and skilled in collaborative team settings.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the personal lines insurance sector.


• Familiarity with specific insurance carriers, procedures, and underwriting guidelines.


• Experience working with a diverse client base to provide culturally responsive services.


• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals while maintaining high customer service standards.
