£110–£120 per day | Full-Time | Long-Term Position

Are you a graduate or experienced Learning Support Assistant looking to join one of London's leading independent preparatory schools?

A highly regarded Prep School in Notting Hill is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with additional needs in a nurturing and ambitious school environment.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to provide tailored support to pupils, both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping children access learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential.

Learning Support Assistant – Role Overview

• Full-time, long-term position from September 2026


• £110–£120 per day (term-time only)


• Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs


• Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions


• Working alongside experienced teachers and SEND professionals


• Excellent opportunity for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Therapists or Teachers

Learning Support Assistant – Person Specification

• 2:1 degree or higher from a leading UK university


• Previous experience working with children or young people preferred


• Passion for supporting pupils with SEND


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Patient, proactive and nurturing approach
