Newborn Photography and Sales Trainer

Job Overview

Bella Baby Photography is looking for a passionate and skilled Newborn Photography and Sales Trainer to support our Chicagoland area photographers. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of talent and skill levels, training team members in newborn photography techniques and supporting them in a hospital environment. This role will involve traveling between local hospitals and other locations within the area.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on photography training to team members, focusing on newborn and family photography.
• Teach and reinforce manual shooting techniques and the effective use of natural light in a hospital setting.
• Conduct in-person sales (IPS) training, supporting photographers to effectively sell products and services to clients.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Lightroom Classic for photo editing and batch processing.
• Maintain organized training records, tracking team progress in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Work collaboratively with various personalities and skill levels while maintaining a professional and patient demeanor.
• Foster a positive environment that encourages learning and creativity.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience with DSLR or mirrorless photography in manual mode, including editing in Adobe Lightroom Classic. Sales or hospitality experience, ideally with IPS (in-person sales) knowledge, is essential.
• Technology Skills: Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, Adobe Lightroom Classic, and other relevant tools.
• Equipment: Must own a DSLR camera and a laptop with Adobe Lightroom Classic installed, an external flash, and an external hard drive. 
• Transportation: Reliable personal transportation for frequent travel within the Chicagoland area.
• Work Environment: Comfortable working independently and in a hospital environment, adapting to different personalities and learning styles.
• Health & Safety: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Must meet all medical badging requirements, including annual TB test, flu shot, and up-to-date TDAP, MMR, and Varicella vaccinations (or immunity proof through titers) to obtain badges at multiple locations.
