Non CDL Driver

Quanex is looking for a Non CDL Driver to join our team located in Allentown, PA.

he Non-CDL Driver is responsible for making local deliveries and pickups while supporting production floor operations when not driving. This role requires flexibility and a willingness to assist with production and other operational duties as needed.

What Success Looks Like:

• 
  

  Safely deliver Screen Doors and/or Windows in a box truck from our local warehouse to customers in metropolitan area.  

  
  


• Occasional data entry, filing orders and receiving goods into systems.


• Pre-trip and post trip inspections, reporting any issues with the truck.  


• Loading and unloading of raw product and finished product.


• Perform related work as required.


• Cooperates with and supports co-workers and gets involved as a team player.

Your Credentials:

• High school education or equivalent.


• Valid driver’s license – With excellent driving record.


• Ability to drive a 26ft. box truck.


• Ability to perform physical functions of the job (lifting of at least 50 lbs. repetitively).


• Ability to follow both written and verbal communication.


• Must be able to operate a computer at a basic level, being able to handle email, data entry, calendar and scheduling apps, printing, and processing applications such as Microsoft Excel is necessary.

The starting rate for this position is $21.50, with bonus potential.
