Non-Inv Cardiovascular Tech

The Cardiac Device CVT is responsible for assisting the NP and Physicians in the management of all patients with implantable cardiac devices requiring cardiac device therapy. The position is responsible for establishing and maintaining a remote monitoring program that includes scheduling, billing, downloading and analyzing clinical device transmissions.  Scheduling of clinic and remote appointments. Monitoring websites for remote transmissions and urgent alerts.  Interrogation and programming of pacemakers, ICD devices & loop recorders under the direct supervision of physicians and cardiac device certified allied professionals.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Graduate of CAAHEP or ABHES Cardiovascular Technology program preferred

Minimum Experience Required:

• Previous clinical experience in a Pacemaker/ICD center. Previous Arrhythmia interpretation.
