You’ll play an important role in recognizing student needs, addressing challenges that can affect school performance, and helping educators put meaningful academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports in place.

Core Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling.

Consult with teachers, administrators, and families.

Contribute to student support and educational planning.

Support an inclusive and welcoming school environment.

Maintain appropriate student records and documentation.

Conduct classroom, behavioral, and student observations.

Assist with intervention development and progress monitoring.

Promote positive behavioral and social-emotional development.

Identify academic, behavioral, social, and emotional support needs.

Requirements

Applicant must hold a master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or Educational Psychology, along with a valid Illinois PEL with School Psychology endorsement and a state license as a School Psychologist. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills are essential to success in this role.
