• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals.
  


• Adapt curriculum, assignments, and assessments to meet diverse learning needs.
  


• Develop, implement, and manage IEPs in compliance with Michigan and federal guidelines.
  


• Monitor student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies using data-driven practices.
  


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support inclusive practices and positive behavioral supports.
  


• Communicate consistently with families regarding student growth and progress.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
  


• Strong skills in collaboration, instructional planning, and classroom management.
  


• Experience working in resource, inclusion, or self-contained settings preferred.
  


• Valid Michigan teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement (or eligibility to obtain).
