REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Moderate Sedation

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified
Licenses: Active New York License
DEA / CDS: Active DEA with NY address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4 & 5
Certifications: ACLS, PALS (AHA), ATLS
Experience: New graduates accepted with training
Other Qualifications: Case logs for past 2 years; CME/CEU documentation for past 2 years; current immunizations (Flu, PPD or Chest X -ray, Physical, N95 Fit Test, titers for MMR, Hep B, Varicella)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients in the ER setting
Perform moderate sedation as required for procedures
Collaborate with attending physicians and support staff to manage acute conditions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR
Participate in patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
