NP/PA, Urgent Care - Huntington Beach, CA

Position Summary

MemorialCare Medical Foundation is looking for experienced Physician Assistants and/or Nurse Practitioners to work at MemorialCare Medical Group urgent care clinic in Huntington Beach, CA.  This is a full-time benefited position working a 3x12 schedule, including two weekend shifts each month. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

General Duties:

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
• Formulate a differential diagnosis and establish a working diagnosis
• Implement therapeutic intervention for specific conditions requiring consultation, referral, or evaluation by the supervising physician or other healthcare professionals

Qualifications:

• Must have completed an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as a Physician Assistant or NP
• Working experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred
• Licensed to practice in California
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• DEA number

Base salary range\: $132,000-$167,000+*

*The salary range above is an estimated annual base salary for a full-time position and depending on experience.   Our compensation model utilizes fair market value data specific to your specialty.
