Part-Time Nurse Aide (2nd Shift)

3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. | Mishawaka, Indiana

The Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration are seeking a caring and dependable Part-Time Nurse Aide to join our infirmary team in Mishawaka, Indiana. Schedule

• Part-time


• 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.


• Every other weekend required


• Some holidays required

What the Nurse Aide Do

The Nurse Aide will play an important role in enhancing the quality of life of the Sisters entrusted to our care. Responsibilities include:

Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding

• Helping Sisters with mobility, transfers, and safe lifting techniques


• Measuring and recording vital signs


• Monitoring residents' well-being and reporting changes to the nursing team


• Maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe environment


• Responding promptly to call lights


• Following infection-control procedures and universal precautions


• Supporting each Sister with compassion, dignity, and respect

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or elder care preferred


• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds


• Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented attitude


• A willingness to embrace Franciscan values, including respect for human dignity, compassion, courtesy, joy, and stewardship
