Nurse Educator - Employee Education

Job Summary: The Nurse Educator, under the direction of the Director of Education, is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for nursing and ancillary staff to ensure compliance with standards, promote evidence-based practice, and support continuous quality improvement. This role supports orientation, competency validation, continuing education, and professional development across the organization.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing,


• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program required.


• Current RN licensed by the state of Kentucky or compact state.


• BLS certification by American Heart Association (AHA) required.


• Must obtain MSN or certification within 5 years in area of expertise.

 EXPERIENCE: At least 3-5 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting, to include proven experience/expertise in the clinical area.
