Piedmont Community Services is seeking a full-time psychiatric (LPN or RN) Crisis Nurse to play a vital role in providing assessment and nursing services to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. As part of our multidisciplinary crisis services team, the Crisis Nurse will administer and monitor medications, assist with lab services, provide health education, and support individuals throughout the crisis stabilization process. Preferred candidate will have good communication skills for coordinating with doctor's offices, medical providers, and pharmacies and 1+ year psychiatric nursing or emergency dept nursing experience. Reliable transportation ability to meetings and other sites, familiarity with standard office equipment, good computer skills, and a current Virginia LPN or RN license is needed. Evenings, weekends, and some holiday hours may be required. 12-hour shifts are available, including 8:00 AM–8:00 PM and 8:00 PM–8:00 AM.
