Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Pre-Operative Clinic

A premier Beverly Hills surgery center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Pre-Operative team. We are committed to providing exceptional patient care in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Position Summary

The NP or PA will work closely with the surgical and anesthesia teams to evaluate patients prior to surgery, complete medical clearances, and ensure patients are medically optimized for their procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for a newer provider looking to grow within a supportive surgical setting. Previous RN experience in surgery, ICU, telemetry, med-surg, or acute care is highly preferred.

Schedule

• Part-Time


• Mondays & Tuesdays


• Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operative patient evaluations and assessments


• Complete medical clearances for surgical procedures


• Review patient medical history, medications, labs, EKGs, and diagnostic results


• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nursing staff, and specialists


• Identify and communicate medical concerns prior to surgery


• Accurately document patient encounters within the EMR


• Educate patients regarding surgical preparation and follow-up care

Qualifications

• Active California NP or PA license required


• Family Nurse Practitioner preferred


• New graduates encouraged to apply


• Prior RN experience in surgery, ICU, telemetry, med-surg, or acute care strongly preferred


• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking skills


• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

Compensation

Pay range: $55–65/hour depending on experience.
