Nurse Practitioner

Hospitality Spotlight is partnering with a client supporting a federal program to hire an experienced Nurse Practitioner to conduct exams for Veterans and military members in Colorado. This is a non-treatment role focused on medical evaluations and documentation that directly supports disability determinations. This role is full-time, steady schedule with no on-call requirements.

The Work

• Perform evaluations for Veterans
  




• Assess medical records and claim documentation before each exam
  




• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires within a web-based system
  




• Record precise findings and patient responses during assessments
  




• Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely electronic documentation
  




• Finalize and submit exams for review and decision processing
  




• Stay organized and detail-focused in a high-volume setting
  

• Completed a Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  




• Maintain an active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Colorado
  




• Bring a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
  




• Stay highly organized and work effectively with minimal supervision
  




• Communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats
  




• Thrive in a structured, fast-paced, high-volume environment
  




• Skilled in Microsoft Office and standard computer systems
  




• Familiarity with EMR systems preferred 
  

• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  




• Ability to analyze medical information and apply clinical judgment
  




• Self-directed with strong time management skills
  




• Comfortable managing multiple priorities with urgency 
  




• Solid understanding of medical terminology and body systems
  




• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Compensation

• Base salary of 120k - 125k
