ROLE SUMMARY
The Nurse Practitioner serves as the clinical lead for the Ambulatory Infusion Center (AIC) and is responsible for coordinating and supervising the provision of infusion therapy to all patients. This provider owns order clarification, patient evaluation, care planning, education, medication preparation, infusion administration, and monitoring the safety and effectiveness of therapy. Collaborating with ordering providers, the AIC Medical Director, and AIC clinical and operational staff, the Nurse Practitioner delivers high-quality, safe, and cost-effective care while achieving high levels of patient satisfaction. The NP also partners closely with the General Manager to drive clinical, operational, and quality improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for a clinician with an advanced level of clinical knowledge, an exceptional bedside manner, and a passion for creating an extraordinary patient experience. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, standard business hours, with no weekends or on-call responsibilities.

Base salary of $110,000 to $130,000 plus an annual performance bonus eligibility
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position operates in a normal clinic environment with occasional exposure to hazardous waste materials, toxins, and hazardous pharmaceuticals. The role requires the ability to frequently push, pull, or lift objects up to 20 pounds (seldom up to 50 pounds); constantly stand, walk, and sit; frequently perform difficult manipulative skills such as venipuncture and aseptic medication preparation; frequently type and perform tasks requiring hand-eye coordination; frequently see objects closely for reading and patient assessment; and constantly hear normal sound with some background noise.
