Nurse Practitioner- Urgent Care

Summary: Our client is seeking a experienced and compassionate Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team in delivering high-quality care to our diverse and underserved patient population. • Comprehensive
  Clinical Care: Urgent Care providers play a critical role in delivering convenient, same-day care while helping patients avoid unnecessary emergency department visits. Treat a diverse mix of acute and episodic conditions and deliver convenient, same-day care to patients of all ages. Perform office-based procedures including suturing, wound care, I&Ds, splinting, foreign body removal, and point-of-care testing.

  Care & Coordination: Collaborate with nurses, care coordinators, urgent care team, and specialists to manage care transitions,
  ensuring continuity.
  
• Patient
  Advocacy & Communication: Build trusting, long-term relationships
  through effective, empathetic communication. Educate patients and families
  on disease management and healthy lifestyle changes.
  
• Efficient
  Workflow & Technology Adoption: Utilize Electronic Health Record
  (EHR) systems to maintain accurate, up-to-date, and detailed documentation
  in the electronic medical record system.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
  
• Current unrestricted APRN or PA license
  
• National board certification & BLS certification
  
• DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care experience
  
• Experience managing a broad spectrum of acute conditions
  
• Experience performing minor procedures and office-based interventions
