Job Description - Ob/Gyn

Want to Make a Difference? Aviva Health is looking for an experienced OB/GYN to join their team in Roseburg, Oregon!


 


Come practice OB/GYN services with an amazingly fun, brilliant, outgoing team in the beauty of Southern Oregon. Practice with an interdisciplinary team composed of physicians, midwives, and family practice Residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Conduct thorough patient consultations, examinations, and assessments to diagnose and develop appropriate treatment plans.

  • Provide exceptional prenatal, postnatal, and general obstetric and gynecological care to patients, ensuring their overall well-being.

  • Collaborates frequently with Midwives and other multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver comprehensive patient care.

  • Stay up to date with advancements in obstetrics and gynecology by actively participating in professional development activities, such as conferences, workshops, and continuing education opportunities.

  • Opportunity teach Family Medicine resident physicians both in the outpatient clinic and inpatient environment.

  • Utilization of state-of-the-art technology to utilize Divinci Robot for surgical cases.

Your Role Living Your Dream:

  • Interdisciplinary team composed of midwives and physicians. 

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, Residents, including nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver comprehensive patient care.

  • Keep up with advancements in obstetrics and gynecology by actively participating in professional development activities, such as conferences, workshops, and continuing education opportunities. 

  • Opportunity teach Family Medicine resident physicians both in the outpatient clinic and inpatient environment.

  • Opportunity to utilize Divinci robotics. 

  • Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography imbedded in clinic  


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Medical degree and completion of a residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

  • Board certification or eligibility for certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Oregon.

  • Proven experience in performing a variety of obstetric and gynecological surgeries.

  • Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges at CHI Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg Oregon

  • Willingness to teach Family Medicine resident physicians both in the outpatient clinic and inpatient environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Dedication to maintaining high ethical standards and adherence to best practices in patient care.

  • Willingness to participate in on-call duties and provide emergency obstetric and gynecological care when necessary.
