Patient Demographics: Adults
Average Daily Volume: 1-6 patients per day
Case Mix: Obstetrics (deliveries, C-sections, VBACs, lacerations)

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: EPIC
Nursery Level: II
Office Equipment Available: Hospital Labor and Delivery equipment; onsite labs & ultrasound

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
Credentialing Timeline: 90 days (can be expedited)

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Routine Delivery – Vaginal, Low Forceps
Decision-Making for C-Section
Complicated Delivery – C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions
VBAC's
Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC
Licenses: KY or IMLC
DEA: Active
Certifications: BLS

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide on-call coverage for OBGYN emergencies
Perform routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, forceps, C-section)
Manage labor and delivery triage and admissions
Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
Collaborate with midwives and nursing staff
